ABOUT US

Prestressed Concrete offers precast building solutions for both bridge construction and structural projects.  From girders to double tees to concrete slabs, all with a variety of customizable features, we have met the needs of construction firms, designers, engineers, and project owners for over 60 years.  We pride ourselves on superior quality and the incredible people who perpetuate our reputation for excellence.  For years, Prestressed Concrete has been on the cutting edge of industry innovation – it’s where we’ve always been, and it’s where we’ll stay.

HISTORY

In 1957, Prestressed Concrete became part of the suburban Wichita community known as Newton, Kansas.  As a small startup, we offered prestressed piling and some precast concrete building components.  Business grew and, over the years, so did our list of available products.  To accommodate the demand, we purchased 30 acres and moved all operations to our current location in 1971. A concrete batching facility was added in 1978; a second batching facility was added in 2012.  And, after all these years, Newton, Kansas is still our home.
